How do I upgrade the firmware on my AP or Router?

  1. Download new firmware from www.intellinet-network.com

  2. Unzip the downloaded file and extract the *.bin file to a local folder on your computer.

  3. Logon to your router/AP

  4. In the upper right hand corner of your screen select STATUS to verify current firmware version. See "Runtime Code Version"

  5. In the upper right hand corner of the screen select TOOL.

  6. Select Firmware Upgrade from menu on the left side of the screen. Click Next.

  7. Click on "Browse..." and select the firmware file (*.bin) from your hard drive. Click "Apply".


  8. Confirm the message below with "OK". The firmware upgrade process will now begin. It should take no longer than 5 minutes.

The firmware upgrade process must not be interrupted or the device could be damaged beyond repair.
Do not perform the upgrade while you are connected to the router or access point wirelessly.
If you are using a portable computer, make sure that you the battery is sufficiently charged.
The computer performing the update should not be used for any other tasks while the upgrade is in process.
